- Revision History File 03/18/87
-
- From revision 1.04 and on we will include a revision history
- file with the rest of our USEware material. This file attempts
- to show the changes made to AOS/68K over the months.
-
- A68K100.ARC:
-
- Basic, working AOS/68K kernel. The key_stat command was not
- completely implemented. It's companion file, IDM version 1.00,
- added many useful diagnostic commands. Some of IDM's commands
- were not yet operational, such as STAT, ON, OFF, LOAD, STOR,
- SRCH, and LINK.
-
- A68K102.ARC:
-
- Completely implemented both the key_stat and trn_stat
- commands. AOS/68K, together with IDM version 1.02, made a great
- combination. IDM's STAT, ON, OFF, and LOAD commands were also
- working in IDM revision 1.02. Had requests to enhance the IDM
- with additional commands.
-
- A68K104.ARC:
-
- Added special system stack handling to the kernel. All
- sorts of nasty, nested interrupts are now possible. Each task
- gets its own system stack area. The AOS/68K kernel version 1.04
- implements a new reset task command (at the request of a medical
- imaging company in Arizona). IDM's LINK, STOR, and SRCH commands
- are not released yet. A68K104.ARC is really a value-packed, cost
- effective, commercial grade, multitasking kernel.
-
-
- Recent ideas for improvements in future versions: Rule
- based expert system interface for the Error Recovery Interface,
- disassembler, single stepping, and a request that IDM shut itself
- off after some default timeout period. Please send your comments
- to CST, P.O. box 1856, Chandler, Az 85244-1856, or leave a
- message on the CST RBBS between the hours of 4:00 P.M. till 6:30
- P.M. Phoenix time. The CST telephone number is (602) 961-0231.
-
-
- Note: The A68K104.S19 file, which is a part of A68K104.ARC, has
- been linked and ready to download at $1000 into memory.
